Parking for Stand Up Paddle Surfers
7:00am and there is no parking in front of Kaulapapas. Two years ago it was the last place you’d want to park and now there is a demand for parking real estate. That is a sign of whats to come. Enough about the parking. Surf was decent. But decent is fun. If the parking lot was fun imagine the line up. There was a least 30 Stand Up Paddle Surfers out this morning. The usual crew plus the C4 Crew from do south. Good fun, south swell looks to be on its way. What a great summer so far.

Standup Paddle, triathletes
Cross training… for a multi-sport sport. The surfing aspect is what I as a surfer love. It’s a whole different dimension and allows you to look at the energy from the ocean. The actual Stand Up Paddle competition in of itself is great also. As a former triathlete I would use Stand Up Paddling as a cross training platform. Be warned…. this is addicting and may cause you to pass on hammering your 100 mile weekend ride. Even though this is more of a commercial for Surf Tech the message is loud and clear. I’ve surfed the Ron House Surf Techs and like all Ron House Shapes they’re fun.
